I got really sick yesterday. Like fucking hell. I can't even move or get out of my bed for an entire day. I don't think I've ever been that sick so far as I can remember. My body felt so heavy and my head just won't stop spinning whenever I try to get up. Fortunately (or should I say, unfortunately?) I'm alright now. The sickness just went away as quickly as it arrived. It just left me with a banging cough and an oh-so-itchy sore throat.
I think it's probably due to my recklessness the other day when I went to my interview. There was a little rain and I acted so tough and just walked on without running for cover. I remember I used to get sick easily back in high school even with just a slight change of weather. I dunno what made me think I am invincible now.
On the other hand, my sister said that maybe I might have been "bati". Bati or balis is a superstition here in the Philippines wherein if somebody has complemented you or fancied you in some way you will get so sick. This works especially if the person who made the "bati" has an empty stomach when he or she saw you. It's really weird. ikr? Anyways, my sister speculates that when I went to our municipal hall the other day, someone might have made the "bati" on me. It can be true cause I went there just a few minutes before 12 noon and they probably all have rumbling stomachs then. They were all very nice though, a mister even accompanied me to the office. He might be the suspect. Haha! Although there's no scientific proof to this phenomenon, it still happens.
Another speculation was from my Mom. She told me that I got sick because of me being nocturnal. I don't know. If that's true I should've been sick way before or better yet be dead now. But I don't deny the fact that chronic lack of sleep can really weaken one's immune system so it might have also contributed to me being sick.
My other sister told me that maybe I just need to go out and get some sunlight. I think she's right. I have been at home for roughly 3 months now. Maybe I got sick for being at home too much. Plus I'm breaking out big time. I think I really need to work. God please. I hope they consider me. Even if I answered stupidly to the questions. I think I got too comfortable because the interview is in Filipino and this made me speak without thinking (as I always do). Shoot. I'd prefer to be interviewed in English so I could think first before uttering words in reply.
My gold mine has collapsed and I badly need to find a new one. Please help me. I can't do it by myself. Please let it be. Alright, this is getting out of hand. Vale!
Baby we've been livin' in sin
cos we've been really in love
but still livin' as friends
PS. Thanks for making me well! :)
